• With the Hartford Community Center constructed, equipped and staffed, a host of youth and adult services and activities will be available to address many problems facing our community.

• We hope to offer combination of academic and recreation activities for our youth after school so they may have a chance to progress to greater academic success. Other joint ventures with mentoring organizations are also being explored.

• Daily use of the center will be for the adults. Small, scheduled classes such as exercise, crafts, and such will be offered in conjunction with other Senior centers to improve the health and social connections of our area senior citizens.

• Evening events will include: volleyball and basketball leagues, special speakers, how to classes, and youth groups, providing chances for exercise and community interactions for many people.

• In addition, we anticipate using the center for community meetings, leasing for banquets, graduation parties, and wedding receptions. This use will improve the sense of community in the entire Hartford area.
